The first clip is from an 8mm home movie shot by Derek Holt (with many thanks for permission to use). The Climax Blues Band were on tour in Florida and Pete was taking delivery of the second of his hand-crafted Veleno Guitars from the maker John Veleno. Guitar No.1 was the legendary gold-plated one used on the album of the same name. Pete and John have remained good friends and John is shortly to launch his solid aluminium guitars again nearly 30 years after the first 200 were produced.

The second clip is from the Night of the Guitar UK tour 1988. This was a seven city set of performances from some of the worlds finest guitar virtuosos.

As well as Pete Haycock, there were performances from rock legends such as Steve Howe (Yes, Asia), Leslie West (Mountain), Robby Krieger (The Doors), Steve Hunter (Lou Reed, Alice Cooper, Peter Gabriel) Andy Powell and Ted Turner (Wishbone Ash) and Alvin Lee (Ten Years After)
