WEBMASTER CREDITS (Reg Godwin)

Apart from John Farrell's website (see links page) there is a real lack of information about Pete's work as a guitarist, composer and producer which deserves much wider recognition.

Pete and I went to the same school (King Edward VI Grammar, Stafford) but I was a year older. I was always inspired by his playing but if I practised guitar for another 200 years I would be about a tenth as good as he is.

In recognition of this highly talented but modest guy, I resolved to create a website which would be exclusively devoted to his musical career where fellow enthusiasts could find out more about his experiences playing with some of the big names in the music business and to bring us up to date with the way his career has diversified with the advent of computer technology. I am sure you will enjoy the samples of Pete's music past and present.

Thanks to my teenage sons Reg Jnr., Jamie and Henry for their help in the construction of this site and to John Farrell, Rich Matthews, Malcolm Chiverton and LeeAnn Johnson for their encouragement and for sharing many of the pictures on the gallery pages.

Thanks to the legendary Klaus Voormann for the autographed Beatles Revolver cover which he designed and which I will always treasure.

Last but not least thanks to Pete Haycock for allowing me to create the Official Pete Haycock Website and for putting up with my constant quest for more information and music which he has cheerfully and painstakingly supplied and for all the creative suggestions he has made.

This site was created with Macromedia Dreamweaver MX software and uploaded with Cute FTP

Pete meets a young fan Clemens Bombien at the Musik Produktiv Messe in Ibbebueren. Clem is a great admirer of Pete's music and has set himself the task of learning to play "Stolen Wings". Pete has provided him with a 'karaoke' backing track. Good luck, Clem, and if you learn to play it well enough, we will put your version on the website!

Here's Clem's version of Stolen Wings. Well done!!
